Although it is a bit difficult to go to the top of the road that falls through a jungle environment. It&#8217;s one of the best natural pool in the knuckles area.<\/p><p>The road is beautiful on both sides. It has to go through tea estates, fields, mountains, and beautiful streams.<\/p><p>The water body is crystal clear and it is a great place to take colorful photographs. The pool is a part of the Kotaganga Stream, and that can also be viewed from the Kotaganga bridge. The architecture is of unique Kandyan architectural style with a combination of the unique style used to build \u201cDalada Mandira\u201d the shrines which housed the Sacred Tooth Relic previously in other kingdoms.<\/p><p>The best time to visit the temple is for the evening Pujawa (ceremony). It is located at a height of 1175 m and has become a trending location with an amazing viewpoint. <br \/>Once at the top enjoy the panoramic views and try to identify the giants surrounding the area. There\u2019s a nearby peak you can hike up as well for better views. The stadium has been renamed as the Muttiah Muralitharan International Cricket Stadium. In July 2010, The Central Provincial Council in Kandy unanimously made the renaming decision to honor the legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan, an Antonian and Kandy native.<\/p><p>The stadium was declared opened on 27 November 2009. Muttiah Muralitharan International Cricket Stadium became the 104th Test venue in the world in December 2010. The first Test was played between Sri Lanka and the West Indies from 1\u20135 December. The stadium is Sri Lanka&#8217;s eighth Test venue. It is notable that the venue does not feature Muralitharan name on signage.
